David A. Strauss, Esq. is a magna cum laude graduate of New York Law School. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1995 and was subsequently admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004. In addition, he is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Southern District of Florida, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Strauss is a veteran New York City prosecutor, with extensive trial and appellate experience at all levels, both State and Federal.
David's areas of expertise include: shopping center, strip mall and office building disputes; foreclosures; construction litigation and lien law; commercial landlord-tenant; complex collection matters; condominiums and HOA’s; appellate practice; judgment enforcement; and business law.
Prior to founding The Strauss Law Firm, P.A., David was a member of the downtown Miami law firm, Blaxberg, Grayson, Kukoff & Strauss, P.A. (now Blaxberg, Grayson & Kukoff, P.A.) Before his move to South Florida, he was a partner at the law firm of Borah, Goldstein, Altschuler, Nahins & Goidel, P.C., in Manhattan.David graduated magna cum laude from New York Law School in 1994, where he was honored with American Jurisprudence Awards in Evidence, Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. In law school, he served as the Managing Editor of the International Law Journal and was a member of the Moot Court Association. He completed his undergraduate studies in managerial law at Syracuse University. David is currently an active member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, the Southeast Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Planned Giving Council of Broward and the Tower Forum.
